The bride-to-be looked resplendent dressed in a purple lehenga with a diamond necklace, earrings and mang tika while the groom-to-be opted for a sherwani in the same colour. When we had earlier spoken to Chaitanya’s father, Guntur’s Inspector General of Police, J Prabhakar Rao, he had told us that the wedding might take place in February though he insisted that the families haven’t zeroed in on a date yet. He said, “All I can say is that we are looking at muhurthams and if we find a good date, the wedding could take place this year as well.”
According to the latest buzz, the wedding might take place in December. The Oka Manasu actress, who was all set to play the lead in Ashok Selvan’s yet-to-be-titled film was recently replaced as she had to opt out of the film due to personal reasons. When we spoke to the director of the film,
Swathini, he told us, “We had signed Niharika for the film and were all set to start shooting from March 20. But then the lockdown happened. Now, we have got the go-ahead to shoot and were planning to begin shooting in October. But then, Niharika is getting married in December. She needs her personal space so we decided to part ways mutually.”
Only time will tell when the wedding will take place but fans are already excited.
