The mobile app named Ponnur MLA Kilari could be downloaded from Google play store.
Rosaiah, an industrialist turned legislator, is considered to be one of the few most accessible leaders from the YSRC to the people in the district. “People can send their requests, complaints and even videos through the app. I will personally look into each and every grievance,” said Rosaiah.
He said that they thought of launching the app as many from his constituency were unable to meet him due to Covid-19 lockdown and travel restrictions. He said that mobile app would help him reach out to all those and attend to their needs. He said that they could not move freely and frequently in the constituency as Covid-19 is not completely eased out.
He said that they would be meeting very limited people even if they go to constituency visits due to the social-distancing norm.
Rosaiah said that chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had launched many welfare programmes helping millions of poor across the state and it was their responsibility to see that each and every eligible person gets the benefit. He urged people to bring to his notice wherever those eligible are missing the government benefits, right from house site to ration card, through the app. Rosaiah also appointed a dedicated team in his back office to follow up with the public grievances with the officials of different departments.
