GUNTUR: Moved by the plights of the mentally and physically challenged children during the pandemic, Guntur Round Table (GRT-86) has gifted physiotherapy kits to enable their parents to continue the physiotherapy sessions at home.
The management of Prabhatha Sindhuri Special School, which is managing about 60 such special children, sought the assistance of GRT as it has become difficult for them to handle the physiotherapy sessions for the individual children due to prevalence of the Covid-19.
They requested the GRT chairman Lanka Kranthi Sekhar to look into the issue of pains of the little children missing the regular physical exercise and training sessions with the physiotherapists due to the pandemic.
“It requires unimaginable strength to take care of children with special needs and handling 60 kids is a big task. All our members were moved by their pains and decided to gift them the special kits,” said Kranti Sekhar.
